Norton; it turns the legend

From the hand of his new owner, Stuart Garner, one of the marks returns with more tradition in the world of two wheels, the Briton Norton. The legendary signature is of congratulations since in addition to owner releases, it releases new facilities. Norton's new factory is located along with one of the temples of the engine of the islands, the circuit of Donington Park.

To celebrate his return he announces the exit of his facilities of a new version of the Commando, motorbike that somewhere near the sixties and seventies, was doing the delights of his lucky owners. In this blog of the engine we speak to you about three new models based on the Commando, which in the beginning will be only available in his fatherland, let's hope that soon we could see them running for our highways.

Three versions to the sale of Norton Commando will be: 961 Sport, 961 SE, and 961 Coffee Racer. They all will be equipped with the same propellent, an engine of two cylinders placed in parallel, of 961 cubic centimeters, refreshed by air and with two valves by cylinder. The engine has electronic injection and it is capable of delivering 80 CV of maximum potency. The set is mounted on the characteristic tubular chassis of the mark, made of steel.

The most accessible economically speaking is the Sport, with a price that will be about 13.000 euros and a very finished equipment that includes his characteristic flat handlebar and the pitchfork Öhlins proper of the mythical model. In half of the saga we find the Coffee Racer, which includes the pitchfork Öhlins but in this case invested, and the handlebar is in a lower position. It is free for approximately 15.000 euros in colors: black and gold; red and I pray; yellow and black; and red, black and silver.

As scale ceiling we find Norton Commando painted with the famous colors of John Player Special; black woman with the letters, pitchfork and different elements in gilding. It includes a system of braking signed by Brembo and numerous finished in carbon fibre. His final price will be very close to 18.000 euros.
