Nissan Land Glider; a very personal concept

The Japanese manufacturer, Nissan, has presented recently in the Lounge of the Motorcar of Tokyo his proposal of ultraefficient urban vehicle for not very distant future. Following the stela of models about which we have already spoken in this blog dedicated to the engine like the Peugeot BB1 and Renault Twizy, Nissan proposes a compact and versatile vehicle to us with a surprising configuration.

Land Glider is a two-seater one that is provided with four wheels and two seats (configuration 1+1) as if of a motorbike it should talk each other. It measures 3,1 meters long, only 1,1 soil the of and wide raises 1,42 meters. Inspired in the “covering of a sail”, the Nissan concept, has a peculiarity that makes him different from the rest of prototypes, and the fact is that in the curves it is capable of inclining in an angle of 17 grades, comparable to the gesture that we do on having skied.

Land Glider moves thanks to two electrical engines placed in his rear part, which feed on a few batteries of ions of lithium stored under the soil of the vehicle. Nisssan has mounted in his flaming prototype the newly released system anticollision known as “Eporo“.
