History of FIAT

History of SEAT

The Spanish Society of Motorcars of Tourism, SEAT, is one of our principal manufacturers of motorcars from 1950, now it is part of the Group Volkswagen and from our blog dedicated to the engine we produce this small homage.

SEAT, FIAT was born across the National Institute of Industry and his agreement with the Italian signature to make under license his models in Spain. History of Dacia

Created in 1966 under the patronage of the Rumanian Government, Dacia decided to initiate his production with a low made model he licenses, since the development of a completely new model was very costly. After studying proposals of several European marks like Fiat, Peugeot or Volkswagen, finally Renault was chosen to buy the license of manufacture of one of his models. The elected one was the Renault 8 and this way the first Dacia was born, under the name of 1100, it was an exact copy of the French model.

The company was founded in 1912 by André Citroen, although, it did not begin to make motorcars until it did not finish the 1st World war. History of Chrysler
