New Ford Focus ECOnetic

It has just come to the concessionaires the least pollutant and thriftier Ford Focus. Light esthetic changes and the inclusion of the system ECOnetic (more known like Start/Stop), are the principal innovations of a car that divides equally 3,8 liters of consumption of fuel.

Ford adapts for the first time the system Start/Stop in one of his models and the elected one has been this Focus in his version 1.6 Duratorq TDCi that, thanks to this new technology that allows the saving of fuel and the reduction of pollutant emission the ambience, obtains a few average consumptions approved below four liters for every 100 covered kilometers and places the emission in 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

In a future, Ford, will include the above mentioned system in many of his engines. Propellents, which will have the challenge of placing his emission level below 120 grams of CO2. The price of sale of the first ECOnetic amounts to 19.329 euros, approximately 900 more, that the version that does not mount the above mentioned system.

Both the exterior and the interior of this Ford Focus scarcely change with regard to the habitual model. In the exterior we appreciate the new tires, of more limited dimensions. In his cockpit, the dashboard receives light changes in his instrumentation and there appears for the first time the switch of the system ECOnetic. Placed in the center of the dashboard, this button allows to connect or disconnect the system to will. Remember that with the Start/Stop, the engine stops automatically and gets connected of equal form on having touched the pedal of the clutch or of the gas pedal.

The version Trend has system of navigation, integrated into the dashboard, relies on with a seven inches screen and rear camera for the help to the parking.

Ford Focus ECOnetic is provided with an engine of four cylinders in line, direct injection of fuel and turbo-compressor of variable geometry. The cylinder capacity is 1.560 cc and CV delivers a maximum potency of 109. The change is a manual of five relations.
