The assistants to recently celebrated Lounge of the Motorcar of Detroit, on having happened for the stand of Mercedes, could admire a mysterious sculpture that was simulating a vehicle covered by a canvas on the verge of appearing. Well, the above mentioned sculpture has the keys of where there will go the future design of the German mark.
The person in charge of the same one is Gordon Wagener, the new director of style of Mercedes, which is being employed in these moments at the one that will be future ADN of the cars of the German mark. Gordon is the person in charge of the lines of current Class C, SL and SLS AMG. And it has received the fully deserved award on the part of Daimler of being nominated a design chief in 2009 of Mercedes, Smart, Maybach and AMG.
The one that was the director of the center of advanced design that the mark of the star possesses in California has now a challenge more important to realize drawings and designs of new models of isolated form: to raise the level of design of the whole mark, perhaps one of the weakest points of Mercedes in the last decade. And it seems that evidently with the new SLS sure AMG that obtains it.
This sculpture in silver tones, since it could not be otherwise, shows us the evolution of the frontal broiler, of the new optical groups and reveals an increase of the lines in the profile of the Mercedes. The first sample of these new designs will be able to be seen by us in October, date for which there is foreseen the appearance of the new CLS, a sedan of four doors that will present a hard battle to future Audi A7.
Wagener wishes the new CLS to be the first one of a series of vehicles with his signature that turn into authentic outstanding figures of the future. New more stylized, sports and efficient cars promise to be Mercedes, without leaving the elegance and hardiness of the one that they have always presumed.
