SEAT, leader in sales in February

In February, it has been the month, in which the sales of tourisms have suffered a beyond the common growth for the times that they cover. According to the information published by the car associations of manufacturers (Anfac) and of sellers (Ganvam) the growth has been generalized and in some cases even spectacularly. Be enough to say that last month there registered in our country 91.281 tourisms that opposite to the 62.107 that did it in the same month of 2009, they suppose a growth of 47 %.

SEAT, with 9.083 units, has grown in interannual terms 68,1 % and heads the list of the top have, where the rises are located, almost in all the cases, over 25 %. Behind the Spanish mark Citroen is placed with 8.210 registrations, which grows as regards February of last year in 37,4 %; Ford who has registered 7.730 vehicles raises 55,1 %; Peugeot, with 7.725, 32,8 %; Opel, with 7.533 new registered tourisms, raises 77,8 %; Renault, with 7.339, 27,3 %; Volkswagen, registers 7.115 cars and raises 66,5 %; Toyota, with 4.972, 35,1 %; Nissan, with 3.828, 74,2 % and Audi with 3.582, 18,6 %.

Special mention for the Japanese mark Toyota, which in spite of being put in a review on a global scale of some of his models, for a mistake in the pedal of the gas pedal, has experienced a growth in his sales over 35 % in February, while the German Audi, whose models have a cost superior to the average, rises up to 18,6 %.

Those who have improved a lot of sound those minority marks that stand out for offering a few very competitive prices, it is the case of Hyundai, which aims at an increase of 232,4 %; Skoda and FIAT, with an increase over 100 %; Dacia for his part, raises 191,4 %.

Between the marks that offer vehicles of high scale he emphasizes Mercedes with an increase of 32,9 %, while BMW, Volvo and Sling lower 7,2 %, 18,2 % and 20,8 %, respectively.

In what we go of year, SEAT is supported at the head of the most selling with 14.988 new registrations and an increase with regard to the same period of last year of 56,8 %.
