The future according to Mercedes Benz

The prestigious German mark Mercedes Benz is employed in good rhythm at new models who assure a cleaner and economic mobility. The future of the motorcar seen by Mercedes tends to obtain more respectful vehicles with the environment and capable of limiting his pollutant emission to zero. In our blog of the engine we speak to you about the concept BlueZero of the signature of the star that is very next to the serial production.

The future models of Mercedes base his ecological mobility on a few new electrical engines. This new concept allows the construction of three different models with a common architecture and different systems of propulsion. These models will offer a sustainable mobility without neglecting other aspects so important as the safety or the habitability.

1. BlueZERO E-CELL; this model uses an electrical engine fed by battery with which it is capable of moving in way purely electrically during 200 kilometers with a maximum respect for the environment.
2. BlueZERO F-CELL; model equipped with several batteries of fuel which electrical autonomy can overcome 400 kilometers.
3. BlueZERO E-CELL BONUS; it combines the electrical propulsion by means of battery with an engine of additional combustion capable of generating electricity. Thanks to the set one can move approximately 600 kilometers without refueling and it is capable of moving in electrical way during 100 kilometers.

These three versions are based on a very singular architecture with a double apartment in sándwich, created to allow the integration of alternative systems of propulsion and introduced by the German mark in his class A now more than 10 years ago, a little later the class incorporated it B. The principal components of the team of propulsion are mounted below the soil of the cockpit, where, in addition to being protected, help to support the center of gravity of the lowest car and to make it stabler.

The safety of these new models is supported at the same level as that of any other component of the family Mercedes. Also, this structure allows to offer a vehicle with five squares without space restrictions. New ideal cars are Mercedes to move every day, with a useful load of up to 450 kilograms, a porter with more than 500 liters of capacity and always taking care of the environment.
