BMW M3 GTS; the orange bullet

BMW gives a nut return more to one of his most radical models and with more charisma of all his scale, the M3. In spite of taking a little time in the elite of the sports ones, the variant M3 of the German mark, he has been able to gain himself his space and with every new generation the strip of wood is raised. The BMW M3 GTS is more powerful, light and radical than the current one M3 coupé. His external aspect stands out in addition to for his intense orange color, for the big rear aileron and the new front spoiler. The M3 GTS is thought for the competition, hence the BMW engineers should have submitted him to a severe slimming diet and it should have lost 200 kilos in weight with regard to the habitual M3. For it they have used lighter materials in his construction like the titanium of the leakages or the fibre of carbon of the roof and have eliminated elements as: the air-conditioner, the navigator, the rear seats and the music center.

The propellent of the M3 GTS is the same that that of the M3 of street but with light modifications. The atmospheric V8 enjoys now a cylinder capacity of 4.400 cc for 4.000 previous ones and his potency has spent from 420 to 450 CV. Associated with him, there goes an automatic change of the type DKG.

To be able to hold so much potency, BMW, he has installed in the GTS a new system of brakes composed by tweezers of six pistons for the front wheels and of four for the rears. The suspensions also have been exact to facilitate the conduction of one of more sports explosives of the market.

The version approved to circulate along conventional highways will come to the first concessionaires of the United Kingdom in the spring of the next year.
